1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is: Moving Kids Foundation Industriestrasse 2 9487 Bendern Liechtenstein Email: hallo@movingkidsfoundation.com Further details are in our Imprint.

2. Data Protection Officer

We are not legally required to appoint a Data Protection Officer and have not appointed one. For privacy questions, please contact the controller named above.

3. General

We process personal data only to the extent necessary and on the legal bases of the GDPR (applicable in Liechtenstein via the EEA Agreement) and the Liechtenstein Data Protection Act (DSG). This statement informs you about the nature, scope and purpose of the processing and about your rights.

4. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA) and/or its European entities, acting as our processor. When the site is accessed, the server automatically collects server log files transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, volume of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system and, where applicable, the referring page. This serves the delivery, stability and security of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A transfer to the USA may occur and is safeguarded by appropriate guarantees (Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46 GDPR / EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).

Log files are stored only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above and are then deleted.

5. Contact and patron inquiries

If you contact us via the form or by email, we process the data you provide — name, email address, organisation (optional) and your message — as well as, for technical reasons, your IP address and the time of submission, in order to receive and handle your inquiry and to get in touch with you. The processing takes place via our hosting provider (see section 4). To send us the notification about your inquiry, we additionally use the email service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) as a processor; this may involve a transfer to the USA, safeguarded by appropriate guarantees (Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46 GDPR / EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation/performance) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering inquiries). The only recipients of your data are the processors named above that act on our behalf (hosting, email delivery); we do not pass it to other third parties without your consent. We delete it once your inquiry has been conclusively handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Cookies and local storage

This website sets no tracking or marketing cookies and embeds no analytics or advertising services. To remember your language choice (German/English), only a technically necessary entry is stored in your browser's local storage (key "mkf-lang"). It remains solely in your browser, is not transmitted to us or third parties, and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (strictly necessary storage); where § 25 of the German TDDDG applies to users in Germany, the storage is permitted under § 25(2) TDDDG.

7. Fonts

Fonts are served locally from our own server (self-hosted). No connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts) is established when the page loads.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20), as well as a right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) (Art. 21). Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with future effect (Art. 7(3)). An informal message to the controller named above is sufficient.

9. Right to complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Data Protection Authority of the Principality of Liechtenstein (Datenschutzstelle, Städtle 38, 9490 Vaduz, Liechtenstein). You may also contact the supervisory authority of your place of residence or of the alleged infringement.

10. Status

We will update this privacy policy whenever our data processing changes (e.g. when new services are introduced).
